Purple Rain had 2 singles released in alternate/extended versions. "Let's Go Crazy (Special Dance Mix)" is the extended version featured in the film. "I Would Die 4 U" is actually a re-recording, featuring The Revolution and musicians from Sheila E.'s band: Eddie M. on sax and Mico Weaver (who would later join Prince's band) on guitar.
